Are you ready to start making your wigs?

 

Whether you are a beginner or not, this class is designed to give you a strong foundation in wig construction. During class, you are taught the pros and cons of many different techniques, which have proven to yield consistent positive results.

 

This teaching method gives you enough information to critically think and make the best decisions as you face different challenges while making wigs.

A phone consultation is completed before each class to give you an opportunity to ask Janelle Alisha questions and allow Janelle Alisha to get additional information from you to ensure you are situated for success. After class, you will have ongoing access to Janelle Alisha via cell phone for 30 days.

 

You will learn how to:

 

• Use your sewing machine for wig making.

• Take and transfer measurements

• Customize wig caps to fit any size head.

• Attach a closure and frontal for a secure fit.

• Draw guidelines and understand the purpose of guidelines.

• Double and triple tracks/wefts for track placement.

• Apply a band and comb for extra security when needed.

• Cut closure lace and frontal lace to measurements for a secure fit.

• Mold your wig.

• Bleach, tint, and customize your lace.

 

You will need to bring:

 

At least 2 bundles and closure or frontal. 

Sewing machine if you prefer not to use mine in class.

All other materials will be provided in your student kit.
